Inductor Model

 

 

 

Please use the following model for an integrated inductor in your design and simulations.

Note: The Q of the inductor is given at 2.45 GHz. Assume that Q does not change significantly in the band of interest, 2.4 GHz and 2.483 GHz.  

 

 

 

 

 

You have to change the value of parasitics, Cs and R, each time you change the value of inductor.  Calculate R so that you have a Q of 7 at 2.4 GHz. You may want to create a Cadence model for inductors using the pPar command to automatically change the value of the parasitics according to the formula and the value of the inductor, or you may directly use the model and recalculate the values of the parasitics each time.
